You will ensure meals align with physician orders, dietary guidelines, and regulatory standards while guiding a care-focused dietary team.

Ideal candidates are organized leaders with strong culinary knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to manage staff, inventory, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Experience leading dietary departments in healthcare settings is required.
• Familiarity with physician orders, dietary guidelines, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the food service department.
• Plan, organize, implement, and evaluate food service programs and activities.
• Ensure meals meet physician orders, resident preferences, and dietary guidelines.
• Coordinate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams on resident dietary needs.
• Review diet orders and assist in planning prescribed meals.
• Hire, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate food service staff.
