Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions seeks a Certified Dietary Manager to oversee the daily operations of the food-service department in a Skilled Nursing Facility. You will lead staff, ensure food quality, safety, and regulatory compliance, and manage records of personnel, inventory, and budgets.

You will recruit and train staff, plan menus with consideration of client preferences and therapeutic needs, and coordinate with RD and healthcare team to support residents' nutritional status.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Dietary Manager’s Course, 2-yr, or 4-yr food-service program.
• Successful completion of Certified Dietary Manager exam.
• Two years’ experience in food-service management.
• Prior experience in healthcare, food service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of food-service department per facility policy and regulations.
• Recruit, interview, hire, train, coach, evaluate staff; manage schedules and budgets.
• Ensure safe food handling, HACCP compliance, and sanitation practices.
• Develop dietary plans in coordination with Registered Dietitian and medical staff.
• Lead cost-control, inventory management, and revenue-generating services.
