Job summary

Waste Management is seeking drivers to operate heavy‑duty trucks for waste collection. Roles include residential, commercial, and roll‑off driving with adherence to safety rules and DOT regulations.

Pre/post‑trip inspections and route coordination are essential. Eligible candidates must have at least 1 year of CDL driving experience (or equivalent military driving within 7 years), be 18+, and pass pre‑employment screening including drug tests.

Qualifications

• 1 year operating a CDL‑required vehicle
• 1 year equivalent military driving within the last 7 years
• Must be 18 years or older and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• CDL Class A or B with an air‑brake endorsement

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle in accordance with safety and DOT requirements
• Perform pre/post‑trip inspections and document checks
• Report unsafe situations to Operations Manager or Dispatch
• Maintain route efficiency and communicate with dispatch
• Completely dump all receptacles and leave site clean
