Job summary

Waste Pro of Texas is seeking swing drivers to operate refuse collection vehicles on pre-assigned routes, performing pre/post-trip inspections, and supervising route helpers. Join an amazing team and help serve residential and commercial customers.

Responsibilities include safe driving, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, reporting incidents, and assisting other routes or events as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state in which the position works.
• Requires 2 years of waste industry driving experience within the past 7 years.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Understands refuse collection policies and DOT/state requirements for commercial vehicles.
• Must be able to communicate with customers and coworkers in English.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives truck on pre-established routes and dumps refuse in designated facilities.
• Oversees helpers on the route and performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintains cleanliness of the truck and reports issues as required.
• Completes required safety and regulatory documentation and may assist on other routes or events.
