Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate a residential/recycling collection truck to collect solid waste and/or recyclables on the specified route.
• Load waste and recyclables into the vehicle and compact trash as needed.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required reports.
• Communicate vehicle mechanical problems to supervisor or mechanic immediately.
• Maintain route quality standards and follow safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean vehicle interior and exterior; wear PPE at all times.
• Record services performed and manage inventory of containers and carts.
