Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Swing Driver in Orlando to operate Front End, Roll Off, and Residential trucks, ensuring safe and efficient waste collection services.

The role includes completing inspections, documenting routes, and maintaining vehicle readiness throughout daily operations. The position requires a valid CDL, at least one year of commercial driving experience or CDL school completion, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED desired.
• Must have a valid Commercial Driver's License
• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate
• Must meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards
• Ability to drive truck safely and operate equipment

Responsibilities

• Operate one or more vehicle types and collect waste/ recyclables on routes.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and reports daily.
• Report vehicle mechanical problems to supervisor and mechanic.
• Maintain clean vehicle interiors and exteriors.
• Assist with training other drivers when applicable.
