Job summary

GFL Industries is seeking a Swing Driver to safely operate front end, roll off, residential and other trash and recycling trucks and to service customers efficiently. The driver will perform route collection, complete required inspections, communicate issues to the team, and maintain a clean vehicle while adhering to safety standards.

The role requires a valid CDL, at least one year of commercial driving experience, and the ability to adapt to varying routes and schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is desired.
• Must have a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple vehicle types on collection routes.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reports daily.
• Communicate mechanical problems to supervisor and mechanic.
• Follow safety standards and company policies at all times.
• Maintain clean vehicle interiors and exteriors.
