Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Residential Driver to safely collect solid waste and recyclables on curbside and backdoor routes, operating residential collection vehicles and performing pre- and post-trip checks with a focus on courteous service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED desired.
• Must possess a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.

Responsibilities

• Operate a residential/recycling collection vehicle and related equipment on a specified route.
• Load and compact waste or recyclables in the vehicle.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and complete required reports.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and identify prohibited waste items.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and company rules along the route.
