Job summary

WM is seeking CDL drivers to operate heavy-duty trucks for waste and recyclables across various routes. You will perform inspections, back up safely, and maintain routes following safety guidelines and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL and air-brake endorsement.
• 1 year operating a CDL vehicle or 1 year military driving in last 7 years.
• Must be at least 18 and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to read, write and speak English well enough to interact with the public and complete records.

Responsibilities

• Operates vehicle in accordance with WM safety rules, OSHA and DOT requirements.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections and documents checks.
• Notifies management of incidents, safety hazards, or service interruptions.
• Completes end-of-day documentation and supports route efficiency improvements.
