Job summary

WM (Waste Management) is hiring commercial drivers to operate heavy-duty trucks delivering waste and recyclables to appropriate facilities. You will perform pre-trip inspections, follow safety protocols, and complete end-of-day reports while navigating busy urban and suburban routes.

The role requires a valid CDL with an air-brake endorsement (Class A or B), 1 year of CDL driving experience or equivalent military driving within the last 7 years, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English well enough to interact with the public, understand traffic signs, and complete reports.
• Pre-employment drug screen and physical required.
• 1 year operating a vehicle requiring a CDL or 1 year military driving within last 7 years.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty trucks with appropriate load attachments.
• Transport waste or recyclables to disposal, transfer, or recycle facilities.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections according to DVIR.
• Complete daily end-of-day documentation and respond to service interruptions.
