Qualifications

• 1 year of CDL driving experience or equivalent military driving within the last 7 years.
• Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to interact with the public and read traffic signs.
• Pre-employment drug screen and physical required.

Responsibilities

• Operates vehicle in accordance with WM safety rules and DOT regulations.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections and documents DVIR.
• Notifies supervisor of incidents, hazards, or service interruptions.
• Completes end-of-day documentation and checkout per route manager instructions.
• Backs up and maneuvers trucks in residential and commercial settings as required.
• Performs duties to ensure safe, efficient route progress and customer service.
