Waste Management in Eau Claire, WI is seeking a Commercial Driver (CDL) to operate heavy-duty trucks across residential and commercial routes. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, safely handle containers, and ensure timely waste or recycling collection in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year operating a vehicle requiring a CDL or
• 1 year equivalent military driving within the last 7 years
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located
• Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to interact with the public, understand traffic signs, respond to official questions, and complete records or reports
• Successfully complete pre-employment screening, including drug screen and physical
• Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A with an air-brake endorsement or CDL Class B with air-brake endorsement

Responsibilities

• Operates vehicle in accordance with Safety and Life Critical Rules and DOT requirements
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections and documents checks
• Notifies Operations Manager or Dispatch of issues and service interruptions
• Attends all scheduled training and meetings as required
• Works to improve route efficiencies and identify best practices
• Complete end-of-day documentation and check-out process
• Assist other drivers as directed to meet customer needs
