Job summary

Waste Management in Eau Claire, WI is hiring CDL drivers to safely collect and haul residential and commercial waste.

You will operate heavy-duty trucks, perform routine inspections, back up trailers, and ensure clean, courteous service while following safety rules and DOT regulations. Training and benefits are provided, including education assistance and a strong compensation package.

Qualifications

• 1 year CDL operation or 1 year military driving in last 7 years.
• Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the US.
• Able to read, write and speak English to interact with the public and complete records.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.
• CDL Class A or CDL Class B with air-brake endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty trucks per WM safety rules and DOT regulations.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and document checks.
• Notify supervisor of incidents or service interruptions.
• Complete end-of-day documentation and route checkout.
• Assist other drivers to meet customer needs.
