Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber (CDL Required) to trim, tops, and reshape trees to provide clearance for utility powerlines. This full-time, non-exempt role requires travel and hands-on use of a variety of tools and equipment.

The position involves operating equipment, performing tree-related tasks, and ensuring safety while protecting people and property. CDL is required; benefits are offered as part of a competitive rewards package.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No fear of heights.
• Excellent hand-to-eye coordination.
• Able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cleans up and maintains work areas for safety and efficiency.
• Relays hand-signals and directs traffic when needed.
• Assists training new employees.
• Maintains proper inspection and working condition of tools and equipment.
