Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to trim, tops, and reshape trees to provide clearance for utility powerlines. This full-time, non-exempt role offers hourly pay and a robust benefits package.

Responsibilities include operating tools, loading debris, and maintaining job site safety while working with a crew in a demanding outdoor environment. Candidates should be comfortable with heights and physical work, and be willing to join the local union.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• No fear of heights.
• Excellent hand-to-eye coordination.
• Able to walk, climb ladders and work on uneven surfaces in demanding conditions.
• Willingness to join local union and pay dues.

Responsibilities

• Trim and reshape trees to remove low-hanging or dead branches.
• Operate and service tools and equipment.
• Load/unload trucks and manage debris.
• Set up safety barriers and signage to protect workers and the public.
• Assist training of new employees and maintain equipment.
