Job summary

Asplundh Careers seeks a Trimmer/Climber (DL Required) to trim, tops, and reshape trees to provide clearance for utility powerlines. This full-time, non-exempt role offers hourly pay and a benefits package depending on tenure and location.

The job requires a valid driver's license, the ability to climb, work in varying weather, and a commitment to safety. You will maintain tools, support crews, and participate in training as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position, no experience required.
• Previous tree-trimming experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Trim and remove trees and branches to provide clearance for powerlines.
• Operate and service all required tools and equipment.
• Load/unload materials and feed debris into woodchipper as needed.
• Maintain safety and good housekeeping at work locations.
• Assist training of new employees and communicate with customers as required.
