Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring for a Trimmer/Climber position. The role involves trimming, topping, and reshaping trees to clear utility powerlines while operating and maintaining all required tools and equipment.

Qualified candidates must be at least 18, have a valid driver's license, and be able to work from ladders at varying heights in challenging weather. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a union-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent hand-to-eye coordination.
• Able to walk, climb, and work from ladders at various heights.
• Physically demanding work in different weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Trims, tops, and reshapes trees to remove low-hanging, dead, and excess branches.
• Operates and services required tools/equipment.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds brush into woodchipper.
• Sets up barriers, warning signs, and directs traffic as needed.
• Performs other related work as assigned by superiors.
