Job summary

ProLift Rigging is seeking a CDL/Crane Rigger in Manassas, VA to support crane operators and ensure safe lifting of loads. You will assist with rigging setup, hand signals, and equipment maintenance on job sites.

Responsibilities include DOT-compliant operations, inspecting and maintaining gear, and coordinating with the crane team. Travel and overtime may be required; a CDL Class A and NCCCO rigger are advantages.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or equivalent.
• CDL - CLASS A required.
• Rigging experience required.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
• Knowledge of crane hand signals required.
• Flexibility to travel is a must, which may include weekends and overnight stays.
• Communication Skills and Reasoning Ability.

Responsibilities

• Operates within DOT laws and regulations.
• Represents the company professionally.
• Assists the crane operator in maintenance of the crane and equipment.
• Sets up/teardown of equipment.
• Inspects truck and trailer; completes inspection reports.
• Reports mechanical defects in writing to supervisor.
• Monitors inventory of chains, boomer, and straps.
• Inspects, cleans, and maintains rigging gear.
• Signals or directs hoisting and moving loads to ensure safety.
• Other duties as assigned.
