Job summary

GFL Industries is seeking a Residential Driver to provide safe, efficient waste removal services on curbside and backdoor routes. You will operate a residential/recycling collection truck, load waste, and maintain paperwork and vehicle safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or desired.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.

Responsibilities

• Operate residential/recycling collection truck and related equipment to collect waste or recyclables on assigned routes.
• Load waste/recyclables into the truck and ensure proper containment.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and complete route documentation.
• Identify and tag prohibited waste items and enforce safety standards.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report mechanical issues promptly.
