Job summary

GFL is seeking a Residential Driver to deliver safe, efficient waste removal services on curbside and backdoor routes. You will operate a residential/recycling collection truck, load waste, perform inspections, and maintain route quality while following all safety guidelines.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED and a valid CDL; one year of commercial driving or CDL school is acceptable. Ability to work overtime and communicate effectively with customers is essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a CDL and meet safety-sensitive criteria.
• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Ability to safely operate residential collection equipment and perform pre/post-trip inspections.

Responsibilities

• Operate residential/recycling collection truck on assigned routes.
• Load waste/recyclables and operate compactor as required.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and documentation.
• Maintain route quality and adhere to safety standards.
• Communicate any vehicle issues to supervisor promptly.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and proper PPE at all times.
