Job summary

GFL Environmental, Inc is seeking a Residential Driver to safely and efficiently provide waste removal services to customers on curbside and backdoor routes. You will operate residential collection trucks, perform pre-trip inspections, maintain records, and adhere to safety standards.

The role requires a valid CDL, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work in varying weather conditions on local routes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Must possess a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.

Responsibilities

• Operate a residential/recycling collection truck to collect waste on the route.
• Load waste/recyclables into the vehicle and compact as required.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required reports.
• Communicate vehicle issues to supervisor and maintain route quality.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and comply with safety policies.
