Waste Pro USA Inc. is looking for energetic CDL drivers to join our Nashville team. Operate refuse collection vehicles on pre-assigned routes, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and ensure safe, courteous service to customers.

You will help maintain vehicle condition, follow routes, and communicate with dispatch while adhering to DOT regulations. A strong safety mindset and reliable work ethic are essential for success in this role.

Qualifikationen

• Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state where the position works.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Understand refuse collection policies and procedures; knowledge of DOT requirements.
• Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
• See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
• Able to drive and maneuver refuse trucks and operate related controls.
• Follow a designated refuse collection route and work schedule.
• Maintain written records and paperwork; communicate with dispatch.
• Must be able to speak and read English well enough to communicate with customers, co-workers, dispatch and supervisors.

Aufgaben

• Safely drives truck on pre-established routes and dumps garbage and recyclables.
• Provides courteous, differentiable service to customers and the public.
• Ensures proper pickup and transfer of garbage/recyclables at residences.
• Performs daily pre- and post-trip inspections and DOT-required checks.
• Maintains cleanliness of the truck and performs periodic washes.
• Assists with manual cleanup and operation of truck hydraulics as needed.
• Prepares and submits required company and regulatory reports.
• Supervises and ensures safety of all persons on the vehicle route.
• Complies with all DOT and state requirements for CMV operators.
