Job summary

Waste Pro is actively seeking energetic CDL drivers to operate refuse collection vehicles on pre-assigned routes. The role requires safe operation, routine pre/post trip inspections, and professional customer service to residents.

You will work under supervision, with performance reviewed on route execution and problem solving alongside team members. The position includes a $2,000 retention bonus and a $10,000 driver award available every three years upon meeting criteria.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state in which the position works.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Understand refuse collection policies and DOT/state requirements.
• Able to speak/read English well enough to communicate with customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives truck on pre-established route and collects garbage and recyclables.
• Provides courteous, efficient customer service to the public.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections and DVIR daily.
• Maintains clean truck and proper vehicle maintenance.
• Follows routes and schedules; reports issues to supervisors.
