Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling is seeking a Residential Rear Load Driver to service customers and haul waste or recycling to disposal or processing sites. You will operate various trucks on diverse routes and must maintain safety and efficiency in daily tasks.

The role requires a valid Class B CDL, a DOT medical card, and availability to work nights/weekends. Candidates should be able to read maps, perform frequent truck entry/exit, and communicate effectively with customers.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a valid Class B CDL.
• Must have a valid DOT Medical Card or able to obtain prior to hire.
• Must be at least 19 years of age.
• No more than 3 moving violations in the last 2 years.
• No DUI or OVI in last 5 years or 2 in last 10 years.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide trash or recycling removal services safely and in compliance with procedures.
• Routinely enter/exit the truck 300-500 times per day on assigned routes.
• Replace receptacles at curb or designated areas neatly.
• Maintain and update route & driver logs.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete logs.
• Interact professionally with customers and provide excellent service.
• Ensure cleanliness of truck and readiness for next payload.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
