Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a Rear Load Truck Driver to service customers and haul waste/recycling to disposal sites. The role requires a valid Class B CDL and DOT Medical Card, with 19+ years of age and clean driving record.

You will navigate routes, load/unload containers, and maintain logs while delivering excellent customer service. The position involves physical work, night/weekend shifts as needed, and working outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class B CDL.
• Must have a valid DOT Medical Card.
• Must be at least 19 years old.
• No more than 3 moving violations in 2 years.
• No DUI/OVI in last 5 years or 2 in last 10 years.
• Read and speak English well enough for basic communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide trash or recycling removal services safely and compliantly.
• Enter/exit truck 300-600 times daily, depending on route.
• Pull or push containers; replace receptacles at curb area.
• Maintain route and driver logs; conduct pre/post trip inspections.
• Interact professionally with customers and operate other truck types.
• Load bulk items and ensure truck cleanliness.
