Job summary

Rumpke is seeking Residential Rear Load Drivers in Ohio to service customers with waste and recycling collection across various routes. Duties include using maps for navigation, loading containers, and delivering materials to disposal or recycling facilities.

Drivers must safely operate trucks, perform inspections, and maintain accurate logs while providing excellent service to customers. Candidates should have a valid Class B CDL, DOT Medical Card, and be able to work nights/weekends.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand a map.
• Excellent truck driving/maneuvering skills.
• General knowledge of truck mechanics.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide trash or recycling removal services to customers safely and compliantly.
• Enter/exit truck 300–500 times per day depending on route.
• Replace containers neatly at curb or designated area.
• Deliver/haul waste to disposal site and ensure cleanliness of truck cab.
• Maintain and update route and driver logs; perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
