Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling in Circleville, OH is hiring a Residential Rear Load Driver to service customers and haul waste to disposal or recycling facilities. You will operate various trucks on diverse routes and maintain accurate route logs.

The position requires a valid Class B CDL, DOT medical card, and the ability to work nights/weekends. You’ll join a safety-focused team with comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, life insurance and paid vacation.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a valid Class B CDL.
• DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain prior to hire.
• Must be at least 19 years of age.
• No more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years.
• No DUI/OVI in last 5 years or 2 in last 10 years.
• Able to work nights and weekends; overtime as needed.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide trash or recycling removal services to customers, in a safe and compliant way.
• Routinely enter/exit the truck approximately 300-500 times per day.
• May be required to pull or push containers from enclosures or inside buildings.
• Replace trash/recycling receptacles neatly at the curb or designated area.
• Clean waste spills and overflows.
• Maintain and update route & driver log sheets.
• Conduct pre-trip/post trip inspections and complete logs.
• Professionally interact with internal and external customers.
• Deliver trash or recycling containers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
