Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling is hiring a Residential Rear Load Driver in Mansfield, OH. The role involves servicing customers with trash and recycling collection across routes on a 5am–5pm, Monday–Friday schedule.

You will operate various trucks, perform safety inspections, and maintain driver logs while delivering excellent customer service. A valid Class B CDL and DOT Medical Card are required, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL required.
• DOT Medical Card required or able to obtain prior to hire.
• Minimum 19 years old.
• No more than 3 moving violations in the last 2 years.
• No DUI/OVI in last 5 years or 2 in last 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide trash or recycling removal safely and efficiently.
• Enter/exit the truck 300-500 times daily.
• Move containers from enclosures or buildings as needed.
• Replace receptacles at curb or designated area.
• Clean up spills and overflows.
• Maintain and update route and driver logs.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Interact professionally with customers to deliver service.
• Keep truck cab and packer blade clean.
• Deliver containers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
