Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling in Waverly, OH is hiring Residential Rear Load Drivers to service customers and haul waste/recycling on various routes. You must hold a valid Class B CDL, a DOT Medical Card, be at least 19, and be legally eligible to work in the United States.

This full-time role involves climbing in/out of the truck up to 300–500 times daily, performing pre/post trip inspections, and delivering reliable service to our customers while maintaining safety and cleanliness across routes.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class B CDL and a DOT Medical Card.
• At least 19 years of age.
• No more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years.
• No DUI or OVI within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to read and understand a map.

Responsibilities

• Provide trash or recycling removal services to customers safely and compliantly.
• Routinely enter/exit the truck 300-500 times per day.
• Fill and maintain route and driver logs; perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Replace containers neatly at curb or designated areas; clean spills and maintain truck cleanliness.
• Interact professionally with customers and colleagues to deliver excellent service.
