Job summary

Ancora Education is seeking a CDL Program Director to provide leadership for the CDL program. You will oversee curriculum development, train the Account management group, and support student orientation.

You will hire, orient, and develop Driver Trainers and convene regular faculty meetings. You will monitor student progress, advise during provisional periods, handle complaints, and analyze data to identify at-risk students.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Industry certification in the field of instruction preferred.
• 3 years of experience in academic instruction in a post-secondary environment.
• 5 years of industry experience in the field of instruction.
• 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
• Ability to qualify as a CDL Driver / Driver Trainer.
• Knowledge of faculty development, delivery methods, and reporting.
• Demonstrated motivation, professionalism, and integrity in teaching.

Responsibilities

• Lead program area Driver Trainers and faculty recruitment, onboarding, and evaluations.
• Oversee curriculum development, revision, and implementation with Home Office involvement.
• Provide academic advising, support student retention, and monitor student progress.
• Maintain regular office hours and collaborate with peers to align interdepartmental activities.
• Support accreditation and reporting requirements and plan program budgetary needs.
