Job summary

Ancora Education seeks a CDL Program Director to lead and enhance the CDL program, oversee curriculum development, and supervise Driver Trainers. You will guide student advising, monitor academic progress, and collaborate with the Home Office Executive team on curriculum implementation.

You will recruit and develop faculty, ensure program standards comply with regulations, and coordinate with Account management and Career Services to support student success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3 years of experience in academic instruction in a post‑secondary environment.
• 5 years of industry experience in the field of instruction.
• 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role.
• Knowledge of and ability to facilitate learning on course content within the field of instruction.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong verbal/written communication.

Responsibilities

• Provides academic advising as needed to students and refers to outside resources when necessary.
• Leads student retention initiatives for students facing barriers to success.
• Maintains regular contact with students and posts office hours.
• Monitors interactions between students and Driver Trainers; makes weekly calls to ensure engagement.
• Oversees curriculum development/revision and supports implementation of new materials.
• Observes classes and coaches Driver Trainers to improve instructional delivery.
