Qualifikationen

• Successful completion of the Transportation Equipment Operator Trainee Program or an equivalent training.
• Graduation from a Commercial Driver's License Training School.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Active Pennsylvania Class A or B CDL with Air Brake (L) and Manual Transmission (E) restrictions removed.
• Active Medical Examiner's Certificate per FMCSA regulations.
• Active PennDOT certification for operation of heavy trucks and loaders, plus two additional construction equipment within probation.
• Tank Vehicle Endorsement (N) during the probationary period.
• Subject to Drug and Alcohol testing under Federal Regulations.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions.

Aufgaben

• Operate construction and maintenance equipment to support road and bridge crews.
• Drive trucks, loaders, and other machinery used for highway and bridge maintenance.
• Carry out flagging duties to guide traffic around work zones.
• Perform routine equipment care and assist mechanics with repairs when needed.
• Follow safety procedures, report hazards, and stay aware of work zone conditions.
• Complete daily pre- and post-operation checks and maintain licensing requirements.
