Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a PennDOT CDL Operator (Transportation Equipment Operator A) to support highway and bridge maintenance across the state. The role involves outdoor work, operating trucks and other equipment, and collaborating with a team to ensure safety and efficiency in all tasks.

The position offers full-time hours, a 7:00 AM–3:00 PM schedule, and a starting annual salary of $45,888.

Qualificações

• Active Pennsylvania Class A or B CDL with Air Brake (L) and Manual Transmission (E or O) restrictions removed.
• Medical Examiner's Certificate required per FMCSA regulations.
• Must obtain PA DOT heavy trucks/loaders certification within probationary period, plus two additional pieces of construction equipment.
• Must obtain Tank Vehicle Endorsement (N) during probation and maintain it while employed.

Responsabilidades

• Operate trucks, loaders and other equipment for highway/bridge maintenance.
• Perform flagging duties to guide motorists through work zones.
• Carry out routine maintenance, safety checks and assist mechanics.
• Maintain safety practices and report hazards to ensure a safe work environment.
