The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, PennDOT, is seeking a CDL Operator to keep highways and bridges safe by operating construction equipment and performing maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include driving trucks and loaders, performing safety inspections, flagging traffic, and conducting light repairs.

The role requires compliance with safety policies and the ability to work standard daytime hours with potential overtime.

Qualificações

• Successful completion of the Transportation Equipment Operator Trainee Program or an equivalent Federal/State title.
• Graduation from a Commercial Driver’s License Training School or equivalent training.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training accepted.

Responsabilidades

• Operate trucks, loaders, and other highway maintenance machinery.
• Perform pre/post operation inspections and document findings.
• Conduct flagging duties to direct traffic through work zones.
• Use hand tools and equipment to clear debris and perform maintenance tasks.
• Carry out minor repairs, cleaning, and servicing of machinery.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards to maintain a safe work environment.
