Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines is seeking qualified truck drivers to operate tractor-trailers and transport freight in compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies. You will perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, secure loads, and maintain accurate records while adapting to various routes and weather conditions.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, Hazmat/Tanker endorsements, and the ability to meet FMCSA medical and road-test requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Class A CDL and FMCSA regulatory knowledge
• Must pass FMCSA medical exam and road test
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required; LCV rules may apply
• Must reside within 75 miles of domiciled terminal/work assignment
• Stable employment history preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate all types of equipment and drive in various terrains and conditions
• Comply with FMCSA regulations and company policies
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance
• Secure cargo and ensure safety of equipment and personnel
• Interact professionally with customers and the public
• Possess flexibility for dock work, local pick up/delivery and hub runs
• Adhere to drug screening and background check requirements
• Maintain records per regulations and use in-cab technology as needed
• Follow safety/operational procedures and meet deadlines
