The Connecticut Department of Transportation is hiring statewide Highway Maintenance Workers for all of our Highway Maintenance locations. The State of Connecticut, Department of Transportation (DOT), is now accepting applications for Highway Maintenance Worker (CDL Required) (Transportation Maintainer 2) positions statewide.

The Highway Maintenance Worker will perform a full range of tasks in the construction, maintenance, and repair of state roadways, bridges, and related facilities; CDL A/B

Qualifications

• One year of experience in construction, maintenance or related with operation of mechanical equipment.
• Graduation from vocational/technical school for maintenance trades may substitute for the General Experience.
• Successful completion of the Transportation Maintenance Registered Apprenticeship Program may substitute for the General Experience.
