Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. in Tulsa, OK is seeking a CDL driver to operate frontload or ancillary waste collection trucks on designated routes.

You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, interact with customers, and ensure safe, compliant operation along streets and highways. The role requires a valid CDL, 1 year of driving experience or CDL training, the ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and strong map-reading and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL required; clean driving record.
• Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or CDL school.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work outdoors in all weather.
• Strong communication and map-reading skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive frontload or ancillary waste collection trucks along designated routes.
• Open container enclosures and move cans as needed.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and submit reports.
• Interact politely with customers and address requests; notify supervisor of issues.
• Clean spilled trash from truck and ground around site to maintain cleanliness.
• Maintain and submit DOT logbook and route productivity sheets as required.
• Maneuver truck into/out of tight spaces using mirrors.
• Use maps and GPS to locate service addresses.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures for safe truck operation.
• Monitor for debris and hazards during unloading; inspect site before/after dumping.
• Comply with DOT, OSHA, FMCSA, and EPA regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
