Job summary

GFL Environmental operates front-end trucks to provide waste and recycling services on multi-family and commercial routes. You will service multiple customers daily, transfer waste to the proper facility, and maintain safety and cleanliness on the route.

The role requires a CDL, 21+ years old, and 1+ year of driving experience or CDL training. You will follow DOT/OSHA/FMCSA/EPA guidelines and be part of a team dedicated to safe, reliable service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CDL Class A or B license required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.

Responsibilities

• Drive front-end trucks on designated routes for solid waste collection.
• Open containers and move cans into position for dumping.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and complete reports.
• Interact courteously with customers and the public and report issues.
• Maintain cleanliness around truck and work areas after dumping.
• Follow DOT, OSHA, FMCSA, and EPA regulations and standards.
