Ancora Education is seeking a CDL Driver Trainer to lead the CDL training program at the Piedmont/Charlottesville location. The role requires over-the-road expertise, classroom instruction, and hands-on training with students, under supervision of the Program Director or Lead Trainer.

Requirements include a valid Class A CDL, 3 years of verifiable driving experience, and passing DOT physical and drug screenings.

Qualificações

• Valid CDL with appropriate class level for the position.
• Minimum 3 years of verifiable on-the-road experience within the last 5 years.
• MVR and background check including a drug screen.
• Must pass a DOT physical and DOT drug screen.
• Maintain a valid Medical Examiner Certificate as required by DOT.
• Knowledge of pre-trip inspections, air-brake tests, and CDL driving fundamentals.
• Ability to instruct shifting patterns and various backing maneuvers.
• Motivation, professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm for teaching.

Responsabilidades

• Promotes and maintains a positive learning environment.
• Convenes all classes at scheduled start times and ensures safety for students and staff.
• Delivers instruction on trucking/driving and administers written tests.
• Performs pre-trip inspections and trains in air-brake tests, backing, and parking maneuvers.
• Maintains student progress records and confidentiality per policy.
• Represents Ancora Education with professionalism and a positive role-model demeanor.
