Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is hiring a driver to operate frontload and related equipment on designated routes, collecting solid waste and hauling to facilities. You will perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and interact with customers along the route.

The role requires a valid CDL, at least one year of trucking experience or CDL training, and the ability to safely operate the vehicle in varied conditions. Local route work with requirements and safety as priorities.

Qualifications

• CDL is required; minimum 1 year trucking experience or CDL school certificate.
• Must meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.
• Ability to safely drive the truck and operate equipment; work with routes and customers.

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial frontload or ancillary equipment along designated routes to collect solid waste.
• Open containers and roll 3-4 yard cans for dumping; perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Interact courteously with customers and the public; report issues to supervisor.
