Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a professional CDL driver to operate frontload or ancillary waste collection equipment on designated routes. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, interact with customers, and ensure safety and cleanliness at customer sites.

Minimum one year of commercial driving experience or a CDL school certificate is required, along with the ability to meet safety-sensitive criteria and safely operate the vehicle and equipment.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Minimum of one (1) year commercial truck driving experience OR CDL school certificate.
• Must meet safety sensitive criteria per Company standards.
• Able to safely drive the truck and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive frontload or ancillary equipment along designated routes to collect waste.
• Open containers and dump with proper safety procedures; assist with loading as needed.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and submit reports at end of shift.
• Interact courteously with customers and report issues to supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness at customer sites and ensure safe operation along roads.
