Job summary

Stevens Transport INC. is seeking an Onsite/Inside CDL Driver Recruiter to manage the recruitment process for CDL drivers, sourcing and screening qualified candidates from an office or remote location.

The role emphasizes compliance with DOT requirements and driving records as part of the hiring process. You will build a strong driver network, interview pre-qualified candidates, and collaborate with hiring managers to extend offers and onboard new drivers, while maintaining recruitment analytics

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with ATS and recruitment software.
• Strong computer skills in Windows (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Ability to handle high volumes of inbound and outbound calls and email.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Source CDL drivers using ATS databases and referrals.
• Contact candidates by phone and email to assess interest.
• Screen candidates for CDL and DOT compliance.
• Conduct in-depth phone interviews and evaluate driving history.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new drivers.
• Generate recruitment reports and manage candidate data.
