Job summary

Austin Powder is seeking a CDL Class A Driver/Operator to safely transport and deliver bulk products to customer sites and operate Mobile Manufacturing Units (MMUs) on site. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs, while supporting field labor tasks under the guidance of the Location Manager.

This role requires working outdoors in all weather, lifting up to 50 lbs, and a willingness to start very early.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Valid Class-A CDL license and clean driving record.
• Minimum 21 years of age per the DOT.
• Minimum 1 year MMU experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Hazmat, tanker, and air brake endorsements preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Able to lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Must read and interpret gauges and safety documents.
• Willingness to start very early hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintains/operates vehicles and equipment in a safe, professional manner.
• Driving time 20-30%; labor using hand tools outside.
• Load/unload and transport materials and supplies, including overhead bin loading with fall protection.
• Operate MMUs onsite at customer locations to produce bulk products.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance requirements.
• Comply with regulatory requirements and company policies for explosives delivery.
• Maintain logs and track working hours.
• Report to Location Manager; coordinate with Blaster-In-Charge.
• Other duties as assigned.
