Job summary

Professional Building Supply, a division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, seeks a CDL Driver I to safely transport lumber and building materials to job sites across North Carolina. The role requires a Class A or B license, pre- and post-trip inspections, and adherence to hours-of-service rules.

You will load/unload, verify orders, maintain DOT logs, communicate with customers, and support warehouse stocking as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years CDL experience preferred.
• Experience transporting and handling lumber and building materials required.
• Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A or B commercial vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Deliver to active construction sites and completed locations; inter-state travel may be required.
• Perform DOT inspections and maintain logs in compliance with federal regulations.
• Load, unload, and secure loads; verify orders for accuracy before departure and on delivery.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and assist with warehouse stocking as needed.
