Job summary

Manning Building Supplies, a division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, seeks a CDL Driver I to safely transport lumber and building materials to job sites across Florida and nearby states. You will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain DOT logs, load and unload, and provide excellent service on site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Operates Class A or B commercial vehicles in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner.
• Deliveries to active construction sites and completed locations; city and inter-state travel may be required.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Provide exceptional customer service; communicate with customers and supervisors; relay messages on job sites.
• Organize and secure loads; verify orders before departure and on delivery.
• Adhere to all DOT regulations and permits; maintain DOT logs of hours and rest periods.
• Deliver and unload materials safely; ensure customer satisfaction at delivery point.
• Record merchandise returned and assist unloading for credit; proper documentation.
• Operate truck-mounted forklift to load/unload and transport materials.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and organization for operation readiness.
• Assist with stocking and organizing inventory in warehouse/production areas.
