Job summary

Universal Supply Co., a Division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, is seeking a CDL Driver I to safely transport building materials to job sites and other locations. This role requires maintaining a Class A or B license, inspecting trucks, and ensuring accurate loading and unloading while upholding DOT and company safety standards.

You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, manage logs, and handle customer interactions professionally, delivering to city sites and potentially interstate routes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Class A or B CDL license required.
• 1–2 years CDL experience preferred.
• Experience transporting lumber/building materials required.
• Basic math and ability to read orders.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A/B vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Deliver to active construction sites and other locations; inter-state travel may be required.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections.
• Maintain DOT-compliant logs and comply with HOS requirements.
• Unload materials safely and verify orders on departure and delivery.
• Load/unload using truck-mounted forklift and keep truck organized.
• Assist with stocking inventory in the warehouse.
