Job summary

PA Building Supply, a division of US LBM, is seeking a CDL Driver I to transport lumber and building materials to job sites with safety and precision.

You will perform DOT inspections, manage logs, load and unload, and provide professional customer service while complying with DOT/HOS rules. Inter-state travel may be required; a Class A or B license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL with flat beds/tractor trailers; 1–2 years preferred.
• Experience with lumber and building materials required.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, logbooks, and HOS compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A or B vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Deliver to active sites and completed locations; may require interstate travel.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Provide professional customer service on-site.
• Load, unload, and secure loads; verify orders before departure and delivery.
• Maintain DOT logs of driving hours, on-duty time, rests.
• Operate truck-mounted forklift when needed.
• Keep truck clean and organized.
• Assist with stock in warehouse and production areas.
