Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc. is seeking a driver development coordinator to grow pre-qualified employees into CDL-qualified drivers while boosting morale and advancement opportunities across the team.

In this role, you will train and coordinate driver development, manage class schedules and equipment, and work with operations leaders to ensure policy compliance and high‑quality training outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with double/triple, hazmat, and tank endorsements.
• Two (2) years' verifiable CMV driving experience in the last three years.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform inspections and trainings.

Responsibilities

• Develop pre-qualified employees into CDL-qualified drivers.
• Increase morale and advancement opportunities for employees.
• Instruct and coordinate driver development and training programs.
• Coordinate class schedules, drive times, and equipment for trainings.
