Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a class A CDL with double/triple, hazmat and tank endorsements.
• One year of driving experience in the last three years or completion of FedEx Freight Driver Development.
• Must meet DOT regulatory requirements and have a valid MVR.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles/triples when applicable.
• Perform pre-trip and safety inspections of equipment.
• Hook/unhook trailers and secure freight inside trailers.
• Maintain documentation and communicate with dispatch and customers.
• Help support the selling process and solicit additional business.
