Job summary

QXO is seeking a skilled CDL Class A driver to join our field-based delivery team in Florida. You will transport building materials, conduct safety inspections, and coordinate with dispatch to meet delivery schedules.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to operate GPS and delivery software. This full-time role offers competitive benefits and room for growth.

• Ability to work independently while managing daily delivery schedules.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to operate mobile applications, GPS systems, and electronic delivery tools.
• Valid Class A CDL license in good standing.
• Minimum 1–2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
• Experience operating flatbed trucks, tractor-trailers, or oversized load vehicles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport building materials, products, and equipment to customer locations according to established routes and delivery schedules.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip, en‑route, and post‑trip vehicle inspections in accordance with DOT/FMCSA regulations and company policies.
• Plan delivery routes while accounting for traffic, weather, road restrictions, and jobsite accessibility.
• Maintain regular communication with dispatch regarding departure, arrival, delays, route changes, and delivery status.
• Obtain customer signatures, delivery confirmations, and required documentation upon delivery.
• Represent QXO professionally during all customer interactions.
